This was my first visit and it won’t be my last. The gentleman was very kind, patient and polite. He offered me water while I was waiting. I ordered okra soup, fufu and gizzards (complimentary jollof rice)…it was very good and I have leftovers for tomorrow. I can’t wait to return…looking forward to try something different based on the great egusi reviews …keep up the good work Sir!!…see ya soon…5 stars!

I was impressed with the food. the fish was nice, but i could tell it was not the freshest, but we came in the evening, the spinach and plantain were amazing and the plantain was very ripe. The service was great and the server was knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful. they play music that can get a bit loud in the evening (sunday night) just FYI if you want to sit in and eat

My husband and I have this crazy addiction to fu fu and egusi soup lol, We have scoured many places trying to find the best and I say we’ve found it!! OMG there jerk chicken egusi is the best hands down!! The yam fu fu I can with all honesty say I’ve never had better!! Also The fried rice was sooo buttery and flavorful, the plantain was amazing, and that’s from a person who really doesn’t like plantain…I ate them like I was eating chocolate candy lol!! My son had the beef egusi the night before and I tried it just from that taste I knew we had to give this place a try and I’m glad we did!!

First of all let me start off by saying I’m Ghanaian and very picky about African food. I came here with my family and the food was ah-mazing. 5 stars allll around. The Jollof was delicious. It tasted more like Ghana Jollof than the Nigerian Jollof I’ve eaten at numerous places. I had pounded yam with egusi soup and assorted meat. It was also sooo delicious. To be honest, everything thing any of us ate was great. This is hands down the best African restaurant I’ve been to ever. And I’ve been to several in multiple states. We also met the owner who was so funny and kind. He helped us with our menu choices. And he was so confident in his food that he even brought out samples so we could try a few items we were debating on. He had us dying laughing and cracked several Ghana-Naija jokes throughout our conversation. All in all if you have an opportunity to come here, then go. I wish i lived nearby so I could come back and try everything on the menu.

1st time visiting today, and won’t be my last. I was in the area and just wanted a quick bite so I ordered sides - the goat and jollof rice. It was delicious! The rice was flavorful, and the goat was in a red sauce that was just the right amount of spice and heat without being too hot for me. The service was fast and very friendly. I even appreciate that they have a can of Microban spray on all of the tables lol. I’d recommend this place.
